World History Participation Point Questions
Here is your list of random questions that have come up in class. To get participation points (2pts. per question), e-mail me your answer (Crystalynn.Buda@twinriversusd.org) with a link to your source. Make sure that you are using a reputable (trustworthy) source. This means that you should NOT use wikipedia, wikianswers, chat rooms, geocities, etc. The best sources have ".gov", ".edu", or ".org" (depending on the organization) in their internet address. You should always look at what organization runs the website by looking at the internet address and/or clicking on an "about us / about this organization" link. Does the organization seem trustworthy? What is their purpose? What are their biases? Feel free to ask me for more tips on finding good sites. Happy hunting!

3) Can an individual use a gun in self-defense on their own private property? What are the laws concerning this?
4) How do the French celebrate Bastille Day today?
Another Blood Drive Success!
Our September 15, 2011 Blood Drive was a success! We had 35 appointment slots available. We ended up registering 33 people and actually collecting 25 pints. This is our second-highest collection amount ever! We also continue to narrow the gap between registrations and collections—a great testimony to Kat’s iron-rich samples. Great job, everyone! Thank you for your life-saving donations!
